Born in Southern Illinois on the banks of Cedar Creek, I grew up loving the simple farm life. When I married Edward,
we moved away to the "big" city of Peoria, Illinois where we raised two sons and a daughter. Since Edward's death I have remarried.
We live in a delightful old home built in 1889. I currently have fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Life
is good.

What I'm reading right now
"Elantris" by Brandon Sanderson
is one of those books that was able to engage me to the point of forgetting apointments, food and sleep. That doesn't happen
to me often. Actually it's been years since I've read anything of this quality.
